Ok, so most of you just looked at the skill and thought... oh no. Box jumps, especially ones that challenge us are on of the most mental movements we do. Sure it takes mental toughness and fortitude to push trhough the workout, to keep going, and finish strong. Nothing however, rivals standing in front of a box at hip/chest/neck level and trying to gain the courage to jump up on it.
Today we will be doing several skills/drills to not only prep your legs and hip flexors but, to prepare your mind too. Your body can accomplish amazing things, focus and acheive!
The heavy DL on the WOD today should be somewhere in the neighborhood of your 3-5 rep max. It's just one rep but make sure it's solid! See you all at the box today.
