Wednesday classes: 5:30a, 11a, 4:30p, 5:30p, 6:30p
A few people had tight and/or sore backs after Diane yesterday so please take a day off if you need it. I also recommend spending some time on a lacrosse ball and a foam roller. You can also get someone to massage your back a bit - maybe do a minute for minute trade with them! If you're tight, please attend to that. We can't just lift the weights and move on. Our bodies do get beat up with some of these movements and we need to spend time assisting it in its recovery.
I'd also like to discuss movements, such as tomorrow's squat cleans, with which we're doing multiple reps. Those 2 cleans don't have to be "touch and go." You can drop the first clean after you stand up with it and quickly reset and execute the second clean. What is considered "quickly?" 2-4 seconds... i.e., get on the bar as fast as you can, reset and go.
