Firstly, I want to apologize for the late post. I had to help my brother after his hernia surgery today. Predisposition is apparently genetic and does run in the family lol. #TeamHernia
"The magic is in the movement, the art is in the programming, the science is in the explanation, and the fun is in the community." - Greg Glassman
Please trust our programming. There is a method to the madness. We'll spend time at different points focusing on strength, flexibility, metabolic conditioning… all while continually improving your general physical preparedness and having a good time. We are now working on getting EVERYONE ready for the 2014 CrossFit Open.
Today marks the beginning of the 2014 Games season. Again this year our box (along with thousands of others around the world) will be competing in the OPEN. The CrossFit Games OPEN is the first qualifier to the Games. Athletes must perform 5 WODs over 5 weeks and place in the top 60 of their region to move on.
We will be hosting the OPEN WODs as one of our daily WODs each week anyway so we encourage EVERYONE to register and truly measure your fitness! These WODs will be judged and scored and you can measure yourself against others worldwide. We would love to have a team go to Regionals this year and every score counts!
Head over to games.crossfit.com and get yourself registered. Find CF Arise and log yourself in! Let's see if we can beat our record from last year. For those of you who are new, don't be intimidated. This is just another fun part of the CrossFit community. We expect nearly everyone to sign up so get on it!
