21 Turkish Get-ups
Turkish get-ups originally an exercise for shoulder strength for strongman competitors. Apprentices had to master this skill for shoulder stability and strength before training in the traditional lifts. This movement is very technical and challenging but puts the shoulder in a stabile position and greatly increases strength in th shoulder girdle. With the multiple reps, focus on maintaining the "active" shoulder with arm full locked out overhead. Plan to go lighter than normal due to the numerous rep count and really go after it on the 400m runs.
