Some Poliquin products are at the gym along with a price sheet. The price sheet is also listed on this site under the tab, "Friends of Arise." Please feel free to ask Patrick any questions about the Poliquin products listed or any others that you may find on Poliquin's site.
Let's talk about Olympic Weightlifting. Yes, we often do these lifts in class. For those of you who have been coached by me have heard me say this before, you will not master these lifts in 1, 2 or 100 classes, they take years to perfect. After all, men and women earn gold medals doing these lifts in the Olympics every four years. What I'm driving at here is that I challenge all of you to focus on form over weights and numbers when doing these lifts in class. On your snatch, the bar should not stop (its upward progression) below your eyes and be pressed out to finish (i.e., catch it way too low and effectively shoulder press it.) Focus on smooth, fast and clean lifts. I promise you, the amount of weight u can lift will increase as your technique improves. As Patrick mentioned a few weeks ago, proper form is safer and more efficient which translates into lifting more weight. - Coach Billy
