Skill: Handstand Work
WOD: For Time:
Today we will be skilling those handstands. Try to get into a natural hollow body position. Relax your head and regulate your breathing. Try to get completely vertical or al least higher than you have before. Really tighten your stomachs and squeeze your legs and butt at the top. Attempt to have an "active" shoulder position. Utilize all that shoulder musculature you have been working on!
Finally programming some higher technical movements into the WOD's. That's because you are all killing it! With the Overhead Squat today, remember weight is not as important as technique and range of motion. Don't be afraid to use the PVC and hit that bottom! Keep a tight core and activate those shoulders. Nothing changes with the squat.
