Happy Tuesday folks! Today's WOD is preparation when zombies take over the planet... ok, not really. What if we approached our fitness like a survival mechanism. In a way, it really is. We never know what situation we will find ourselves in. True, the chance of defending our home and family from flesh-eating attackers is probably rare, but we find our fitness challenged every(deadlift), put dishes away, stack boxes in the garage(shoulder press) and the big one, sit down(squat). Those unaccustomed to those everyday movements often find themselves with minor strains, sprains, aches and general injury. We are training your muscle memory, the ability to adapt to new situations, and ultimately to overcome the obstacle.
