It's Friday, Friday! Don't you just love that song? Ok, not so much. Bet you love that the weekend is almost here though, huh? It's been cooler lately, actually perfect weather to hit up a class at the box!
Today's WOD is a simple triplet. Running (or rowing), KB's and the infamous burpee! Don't you just love those? Don't worry, burpees don't like you either. They hate it that everythime you do one, you become stronger and more efficient at the next. They hate that your not struggling to breathe like you did when you first started. They don't like it at all.
Rx for the KB's today will be 53#/35#. Please remember this is a guideline only! If you need to go lighter, please do so! Leave your ego, bravado, etc... at the door. It's not worth injuring yourself. Do try howevert, to achieve full range of motion on those swings. This means using those hips and getting the bottom of the bell to face the ceiling. From the side, when the Kb is overhead, your ears should be visible in front of your arms. If you have limited mobility or just really tight shoulders, try pushing your head through at the top of the swing.
