My thoughts on today's "Turkish Delight"
In Greece, Turkish delight, known as loukoumi and is a very popular delicacy since the 19th century.
In Romania it is called rahat. However, in the Romanian language, the word rahat took on a negative connotation as an expletive that translates as sh*t.
Now I might not call the Turkish get-ups sh*t, after the first experience I might say I am more Romanian than Greek.
Okay, well maybe if I were the kettle ball I would I wouldn't have minded them so much.
