Congratulations to Kaitlin and Yez who are now the proud parents of Mr. Jack Alayan!! Jack already takes after his father with both his hairstyle and his ability to run faster than reason allows considering his height.
Yesterday we had a little bit longer of a WOD than usual. We want to train various capacities; train for the unknown and unknowable. There is no reason to be harder on oneself when the workout is longer - pace yourself, and know you are going to finish. If you want to scale the workout by number of reps or rounds, that's great - often a smart decision. Our workouts improve not only our physical well being but also our confidence, our willpower, and our mental, emotional and psychological toughness leaving us with a more resolute character. Whether it's a 3 or a 63 minute WOD, you'll get thru - fight if you have to - and be better on the other side.
